Mario J. Flores
Chief Operating Officer
Mario Flores is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Contracting Resources Group. He brings 30 years of experience delivering diversified strategic management, operational, accounting, financial, and acquisition solutions for the Government industry. As COO, Mario oversees all operations and delivery activities across the firm, helping to guide and execute CRG’s strategic vision and continued growth while ensuring outstanding technical performance to meet customer mission requirements.
Prior to joining CRG, Mario served 22 years in the United States Army and Army Reserves. During his military career he was part of The Joint Task Force–Full Accounting (JTF-FA) focused on achieving the fullest possible accounting of American missing from the Vietnam War. He also supported the White House Communications Agency and was deployed in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After his military service, Mario entered into federal Government contracting where he supported several customers, including; The Joint Staff, The Assistant Secretary of the Air Force Acquisition (SAF-AQ), Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Defense Health Agency (DHA), and The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FINCEN).
Mario holds a Master of Business Administration from Troy State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from National Luis University. He is a certified Defense Financial Manager with Acquisition Specialty (CDFM-A), a member of National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and of the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC).
