Position Title: Acquisition SME (Subject Matter Expert)

CRG is currently seeking an Acquisition SME to participate on various contracts in the Baltimore-Washington area. This position requires a strong Subject Matter Expert who possesses an extensive knowledge and background in government contracting and full range of acquisition support services. The work will focus on developing acquisition plans and strategies, process improvement, and may include RFP development, including SOWs, PWSs, and SOOs. The position also requires research, analysis and recommendations for implementation of best practices in order to improve agency acquisition processes.

The ideal candidate possesses the following experience and abilities:

  • 8+ years of related experience
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and a tangible track record of results
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • Prior Federal Government Agency experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Knowledge of performance-based contracting, source selection plans, and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a team
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet

Position Title: IT Analyst (Reports Developer)

The IT Analyst will play an integral role in the success of the Acquisition & Program Support group.  Specifically, he/she will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Oracle Federal Financial End-users at the client site developing OBIEE customer reports
  • Maintaining and executing custom reports as required by client
  • Setting up and maintaining Oracle Answers, Dashboards, and user rights and access
  • Working with integrator to develop required database joins and views to support custom report requirements

Professional Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. degree in a business related area

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of three (3) years experience with a major financial management system (ERP), e.g. Oracle, SAP, Lawson, Peoplesoft, etc.
  • Custom report development experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Active SECRET or must be clearable

Desired Skills:

  • Broad functional experience with Oracle OBIEE
  • Broad functional experience with Noetix Views
  • Experience supporting to a Federal Government ERP reporting capability
  • Experience training on Oracle Financials

The Accounting Technician I will be responsible for:

  • Administrative related tasks in support of the Department of Defense (DoD) agency
  • Process funding documents in financial system in support of the DoD agency
  • Process purchase requests and obligating documents in financial system in support of the DoD agency
  • Compiling and analyzing financial system reporting for correction of out of balance records
  • Assist with preparation of briefing materials
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate customer service skills in working with DFAS, customer, and a contracting office

Professional Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree or working toward a (4) year degree

Required Skills:

  • Prior professional work experience in a related field

Position Title: Accounting Technician II

The Accounting Technician II will be responsible for:

  • Process funding documents in financial system in support of Department of Defense (DoD) agency
  • Process purchase requests and obligating documents in financial system in support of DoD agency
  • Ability to perform difficult reconciliation process in support of the Agency financial statements
  • Compiling and analyzing financial system reporting for correction of out of balance records
  • Analyzing and interpreting DoD financial management guidance
  • Formulating and preparing internal financial management guidance, policies, and procedures
  • Compiling and analyzing financial management, budgetary and/or financial system data
  • Assist with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial status reports
  • Providing support with preparing briefing materials, agendas, and minutes
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to demonstrate customer service skills in working with DFAS, customers, contracting office

Professional Qualifications:

  • B.A. or B.S. Degree
  • CDFM or CGFM Desired

Required Skills:

  • Direct experience working (PPBES) Planning, Programming and Budget Execution System or related financial management experience
  • At least six years of experience in financial management in a Federal Government environment with a demonstrated ability in areas such as accounting, budget formation, and execution
  • Some knowledge of Oracle, ERP systems is preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel spreadsheet experience (Knowledge of Access, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with senior level personnel
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) Terminology
  • Understanding of Defense Finance and Accounting Service Operations
